The Jack Herer Awards honors Outstanding Achievement in Hemp Awareness in the various fields of Fuel, Food, Fiber, Paper, Alternative Plastics & Medicine, since 2004. On October 23, 2010 during BuddhaFest, the Entertainment Industry will gather to honor those Freedom Fighters who have exhibited an exceptionally progressive commitment to telling Truth through History, protecting our environment, and advocating our constitutional freedoms through Hemp Awareness.

The Jack Herer Awards are named after the civil rights activist, Jack Herer (June 18, 1939 - April 15, 2010), whose very name represents the struggle for Journalistic Truth Over Glory. Celebrities, Activists, Eco-Warriors, Politicos & Entertainers will honor Nominees & Winners with Awards and special musical tributes inspired by Jack Herer's Emperor Wears No Clothes.
